Megan Shaud is a senior at Temple University double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Megan is in the accelerated 4+1 Master’s program for Criminal Justice and plans on furthering her education by getting her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. Throughout her time at Temple, she has participated in the Diamond Peer Teaching program, peer teaching a Criminal Justice Statistics class, and the Diamond Research Scholars program, conducting her own research on exposure to violence’s effects on depression and aggression in delinquent juveniles. She is also a Research Assistant in the Developmental Science Lab at Temple. Megan’s primary research interests include juvenile justice, dually-involved youth, aggression and violence, and the intersections of mental health and the criminal justice system.
