Gianna Pernetti

Gianna Pernetti is a senior at Temple University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. While being at Temple, she participated in an internship program where she co facilitated STEM and Mental Health programs for children, ages 5-9 years old. She continues to work closely with children as a Teacher’s Assistant for a nearby preschool and conducts COVID-19 tests as a licensed pharmacy technician in a nearby pharmacy. Gianna hopes to further her education by attending graduate school to obtain her Master’s in counseling psychology to work within family, couples and adolescent therapy. Her primary research interest includes child psychopathology and how certain mental disorders, specifically anxiety, mood and personality, can affect their development.
