This week I had a chance to look at some articles to help support my writing portion. I’m doing another research project in one of my other classes somewhat like my final grad project but it’s focusing on professional female athletes. Being as though I’m doing both projects at the same, it has been helping me really narrow down on topics that I would like to talk about.
As far as timing, I’m not really sure if I’m moving at a good pace or not. It feels as though I’m not only because I don’t feel much progress from the little things being done behind the scenes. But, this week I want to work on casting my talent. I was thinking about putting flyers around campus but I’m not sure. I only say that because being as though I’m focusing on Black athletes, I don’t want to the flyer to come off in a disrespectful way if that makes sense? I wanted to consult with the professors first to see what they think about it before putting out the flyer. I think finding the talent will be easy but then narrowing down the amount of talent I will use will be hard. There’s also certain types of athletes I’m looking for so maybe that will help me narrow down faster.
I want to take some time and possibly start a schedule for myself because my procrastination is getting the best of me which isn’t good. Hopefully this will be the start of me moving forward with this project and keep me organized with it as well.
