Author of <em>Colorblind: The Rise of Post Racial Politics and the Retreat from Racial Equity<\/em>; <em>White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son<\/em>; <em>Speaking Treason Fluently<\/em>; and <em>Between Barak and a Hard Place: Racism and White Denial In the age of Obama<\/em>, Wise is purported to be \u201cthe most prominent anti-racist writer\u2026in the US.\u201d His Temple appearance is part of a local four- college tour with Speak Out &#8211; the Institute for Democratic Education &amp; Culture. Wise has lectured to over 400,000 people in 49 states and appeared on 600 college campuses. Wise will speak at the Baptist Temple at 7pm.
