Today, we\u2019re back with a new installment of staff favorites, as part of our ongoing initiative to help you get to know your library staff. Check out their recommendations below, and click through the links to find these items in our collections!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy favorite [film] is <a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b3987306~S30\"><em>The King of Comedy<\/em><\/a>, written by a film critic about the nature of celebrity culture.\u201d \u2013Gary Kramer, Publicity Manager, Temple University Press<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArchives of<a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b1244748~S30\"><em> Leonardo<\/em><\/a>, a journal of science- and technology-based art and media. I enjoy reading the early history of computer-generated artwork (dating back to the 1960s!).\u201d \u2013Tim Bieniosek, Sr. Digital Library Applications Developer<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of my favorite books is Amitav Ghosh&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b2443941~S30\"><em>The Glass Palace<\/em><\/a>. I&#8217;m eager to reread it because I&#8217;m traveling to Burma for the first time this December.\u201d \u2013Rebecca Lloyd, Reference Librarian<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love French film and our <a href=\"http:\/\/library.temple.edu\/collections\/media\/\">Media Services<\/a> collection has all of the greats from Godard, Truffaut, Rohmer, Rivette, and Varda to Chabrol, Tavernier, Ozon, Audiard, Klapisch, Honore, etc. It&#8217;s a wonderful collection of and education in <a href=\"http:\/\/guides.temple.edu\/c.php?g=78253&amp;p=515606\">French cinema<\/a>.\u201d \u2013Kathy Lehman, Supervisor, Circulation and Reserve<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy favorite writer is Alice Munro, and our libraries house many of her short story collections! A few of my favorites include <a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b1689397~S30\"><em>Open Secrets<\/em><\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b2448804~S30\"><em>Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage<\/em><\/a>; and <a href=\"http:\/\/diamond.temple.edu\/record=b2768261~S30\"><em>Runaway<\/em><\/a>.\u201d \u2013Beckie Dashiell, Editor<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part Two This past April, we asked Temple University Libraries\u2019 staff members to share the books, movies, and library resources they love, in celebration of National Library Week.
