We hope you find the new design refreshing &#8211; and that it makes your experience using our library resources much better. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheet\/viewform?formkey=dEVGeVlPSTRRclpvY3N5Q1dLdGxHOUE6MQ#gid=0\">use the feedback link<\/a> in the upper right corner of the homepage to tell us what you think of the site &#8211; what can we continue to improve?<\/p>\n<p>For the past several months a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pine.library.temple.edu\/\">preview of the website<\/a>\u00a0has been available to the campus community, and we have received encouraging positive feedback about the new look of the website, which is more streamlined, less cluttered with links and makes use of more visual content.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12033\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12033\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12033 \" alt=\"Screenshot of proposed new look for the Libraries' web site.\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/librarynews\/files\/2012\/07\/libpage2-300x196.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/librarynews\/files\/2012\/07\/libpage2-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/librarynews\/files\/2012\/07\/libpage2.jpg 308w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12033\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Temple Libraries New Website Design<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Libraries\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library\/summon.html\">Summon search<\/a>, which is a great starting point for research in almost any subject area, is the focal point of the new homepage design. A tabbed approach allows for easy navigation to other types of search modes and other sections of the website. We\u2019ve added the daily hours right on the homepage, and an instant messaging tool allows for quick communication with library staff when help is needed.<\/p>\n<p>Please know that some areas of the site are still being refined, and it is possible you will encounter a broken link or some other minor problem. If that happens, please contact us \u2013 using the feedback link on the homepage \u2013 to let us know of any problem.
