It is an opportunity to both create more awareness about the importance of creating more open access options in the world of academic and scholarly publishing, as well as celebrating the many accomplishments achieved so far, such as an expanding universe of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doaj.org\/\">open access scholarly journals<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/newsoffice\/2009\/open-access-0320.html\">open access resolutions <\/a>at a growing number of research universities and even <a href=\"http:\/\/publicaccess.nih.gov\/\">successful efforts <\/a>to promote open access sharing of federally-funded research. Here is a just-for-fun <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/cunyoaccess\/\">open access quiz <\/a>to test your own knowledge of why there is an open access movement in academia.
