This page contains information for students who are considering applying to the master’s or Ph.D. program in Temple’s Mathematics Department and who may be interested in working with me. If you are currently a graduate student at Temple and are considering working with me, you should email me to set up a meeting.
- Like most US graduate programs, you must apply to the Department of Mathematics for admission into one of these programs. Information about applying can be found here. Although you are encouraged to mention faculty with whom you may be interested in working, you are applying to the program, not to work with an individual person. One typically chooses an advisor in the second or third year in the Ph.D. program.
- While you can email me to express your interest in working with me, I have a policy of not meeting with applicants until they have been accepted to Temple and are deciding whether to come. There are simply too many requests before that point.
- You may assume that I am generally open to advising students unless otherwise stated here.
