This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii to earned my BA in Political Science with a minor in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in Spring 2021. In Fall of 2021 I moved to West Philly to pursue my doctorate in Political Science at Temple University. My research focuses on comparative state and local politics in the US. Currently, my work explores how political actors are adapting to an influx of disruptive changes within the American food system.
My work has been presented at several conferences, including the Race, Ethnicity, and Place (REP) Conference, the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) Annual Conference, and the American Political Science Association (APSA) Annual Meeting.
I advanced to candidacy in Winter 2024 and plan to obtain my terminal degree in 2026.
In my spare time, I enjoy going hiking with my cat, attending pilates classes, and watching classic mystery shows.
