Jun Chen (陈君), Ph.D.

I am awarded an MRS travel grant by IEEE MRS 2019 Program Committee, sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), to attend the symposium on August 22-23, 2019.

My paper, “Multi-Class Target Tracking Using the Semantic PHD Filter” with Dr. Philip Dames has been accepted for publication in the Proceedings of The International Symposium on Robotics Research, October 6-10, 2019, Hanoi, Vietnam.

My paper, “Distributed Multi-Target Search and Tracking Using a Coordinated Team of Ground and Aerial Robots” with Dr. Philip Dames has been accepted for a poster presentation at the 2nd IEEE International Symposium on Multi-Robot and Multi-Agent Systems (MRS’19), to be held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey August 22-23, 2019.

My poster, Distributed Multi-Target Search and Tracking Using a Coordinated Team of Ground and Aerial Robots, received the Third Place in Temple’s Engineering Research Competition. With the award, I am also entitled to $500 in Research Prize Funding by the college.

I am glad to pass the Ph.D. preliminary exam of our department!

I am excited to become a PhD student in Temple Mechanical Engineeing and the first student member in Dr. Dames’s lab!
