This is a Sonobe unit folded from a single sticky note:
Colorado State University’s Department of Mathematics has an amazing web page on the Sonobe unit and how it relates to mathematical thinking, linked here.
I also recommend this Wikipedia page for further introduction.
The number of Sonobe units (x), used in the basic assembly, determines the number of faces (2x), edges (3x), and vertices (x + 2). The above Icosahedron is made from 30 sticky notes folded into Sonobe units.
Above: Note the five pointed star pattern.
