My room is where I feel the most comfortable, and where I am able to focus best. Moving onto campus allowed me to have my own room, which I did not have at home. I remember having a hard time figuring out what I wanted my room to look like, trying to look for inspiration online, but nothing stuck out to me. After days of searching, I decided to just decorate my wall with pictures that bring me joy, and pictures that remind me of my favorite things, such as flowers, frogs and my favorite bands. The pandemic has made me realize that I should be doing things that please me, instead of trying to be someone I’m not. The only thing that matters is what you love, not what everyone else loves.
