Appreciate what is in front of you
Life is brief, Each moment to be grasped as it appears And lived with gratitude, not thrown away”
Gilgamesh Retold pg. 113
So I decided to include a sunset I took with my friends and my roommates puppy. The pandemic has been so hard and has taken so much away for so many people. What I have learned is sometimes you just have to take a step back and appreciate what is in front of you. With the pandemic I am actually not on campus and have been living with a few friends off campus. I was not expecting to spend my first year not at Temple, and it was hard at first, but now I am trying to make the most of it and still enjoy what is around me. When looking at this sunset it distracted me from everything, and I was able to enjoy the nature in front of me and for a little not worry about anything. The bottom picture is of my roommates puppy and her name is Luna. Like the sunset, Luna is a distraction from the pandemic and when I am with her, she makes me happy and enjoy what is right in front of me.
