Everyday: The unnoticed

The path you’ve come is far, yet it must stop as every other’s must except the gods…. your wife and children wait for you at home be wise! Go back to Uruk’s fold- among your kindred you’ll find warmth of heart Is worth more than a thousand precious rings”

Gilgamesh p. 97-98
For this picture I chose a location where that I commonly go to to improve myself, but rarely appreciated until recently. When gyms began closing down because of covid, i began to realize how much of a hole in my lifestyle this created, due to the stability and peace that being able to maintain aspects of my physical and mental health had created for me. As a result, I began to realize how important a role seemingly minor locations and activities such as the gym or your favorite restaurant played in an individual’s overall happiness and well-being. As a result, I decided to document some of these locations such as my current dorm, gym , and former favorite local restaurant to show while they may look insignificant or common, they are some of the most crucial aspects of an individuals well-being.
