Each year in January, the IEEE Philadelphia Section selects two scholarship recipients to recognize outstanding student members. Applications for the 2025 awards are due by January 31, 2025.

Now is a great time to consider recommending a deserving student to apply for these prestigious scholarships. The awards available are:

  1. IEEE Student Branch Leadership Scholarship
    • Three scholarships of $6,000 each (distributed in three installments)
  2. IEEE Philadelphia Student Member Award (Alan Kirsch Award)
    • One $500 scholarship, presented at the IEEE Philadelphia Annual Awards Banquet
