I am also a research assistant at the College of Liberal Arts Office of Community Engagement, where I help build and sustain connections between local Philadelphia communities, local organizations, Temple students, and faculty. My research examines the intersections of cybercrime, social media, artificial intelligence, youth and crime, social engineering, and cybersecurity education, with my dissertation examining how college students navigate performance crime content on social media and decide whether to engage with it. I have experience designing, organizing, and leading social engineering competitions for high school, undergraduate, and graduate student tracks, as well as cyberhygiene awareness and training workshops, which I deliver to youth, older adults, and community organizations across Philadelphia. I am trained in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies & have experience using various software packages, including SPSS, Stata, and Atlas.ti. I earned my MA in Criminal Justice from Temple University in 2022, and before joining the program, I completed a BA at Pennsylvania State University with a double major in Criminology and Psychology, graduating in 2019.

Download my CV

RESEARCH INTERESTS

The Use of Social Networking Sites, Cybercrime, Social Engineering, AI, Virality, Youth and Crime, Cybersecurity Education

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Criminal Justice at Temple University, working as a graduate research assistant under Dr. Aunshul Rege on her NSF-funded social…

Continue readingAbout Me

["post-21","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry","entry
["GET
