Tonia Hsieh is an Associate Professor of Biology at Temple University. She is interested in understanding how animals move through the complex, natural world, with a particular focus on running across granular media. She received her B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California Berkeley, and her Ph.D. in Biology from Harvard University, investigating how lizards walk on water and fishes walk on land. She has been a faculty member at Temple University since 2010, and is an NSF CAREER awardee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
