Change Talk: Brief Motivational Interviewing for Effective Conversations
Faculty and staff may encounter challenging conversations, with students and colleagues alike. Brief Motivational Interviewing (BMI) is an evidence-based conversation style for having empathic, effective conversations about difficult topics and behaviors. The training will cover the basics of behavior change, foundational principles of BMI, and practice of core communication skills.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR): Suicide Prevention Training for Staff and Faculty
