We are currently searching for candidates to fill the following positions:

RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGER: The Research Project Manager within the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the College of Public Health will provide full-time support to carry out NIH-funded grant studies and other research projects/activities of Dr. Heather Gardiner, the principal investigator. The position will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day oversight of externally and internally funded research projects. Specifically, duties will be to: implement study protocols (i.e., recruitment, fidelity, data collection); develop recruitment materials (i.e., emails and flyers); oversee and facilitate study activities across multiple study sites, travel to sites as needed; supervise and direct activities of student workers and 1-2 research study staff; create and maintain study files and meeting notes; maintain necessary IRB approvals; and, assist with reports, and manuscript and grant development. RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Coming Soon!

UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIPS (Summer and Fall 2023): Interns will learn about, provide administrative support for, and participate in public health research that addresses disparities in organ donation and transplantation in the United States. Interns will also contribute to other research projects/activities assigned by the principal investigator, Heather Gardiner, PhD/MPH, and will report to the PI on a weekly basis. UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT: This part-time position (15-20 hours per week) will provide administrative support for ongoing funded and unfunded research projects seeking to improve equity in health outcomes in the United States. The Undergraduate Research Assistant (UGA) will work under the supervision of the lab director, Heather Gardiner, PhD/MPH.
