Global Fusion is a 22-year-old, continually held conference dedicated to promoting academic excellence in global media and international communication studies. Traditionally, it has provided a scholarly forum for scholars and graduate students in media and communication studies to present or co-present research. The conference is sponsored by a consortium of universities: Ohio University, Southern Illinois University, Temple University, Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Virginia.
