{"id":749,"date":"2019-02-27T23:42:48","date_gmt":"2019-02-28T04:42:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/geotoran\/?p=749"},"modified":"2019-02-27T23:47:07","modified_gmt":"2019-02-28T04:47:07","slug":"undergrad-research-on-om-in-stormwater-sediment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/geotoran\/2019\/02\/27\/undergrad-research-on-om-in-stormwater-sediment\/","title":{"rendered":"Undergrad research on OM in stormwater sediment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Undergrad research assistant Ashlynn Young has helped us develop a technique for measuring organic matter the stormwater sediment samples that grad student Liz Cushman collected.\u00a0 People keep asking us how much organic matter is in the sediment &#8212; now we can answer.\u00a0 Not much.\u00a0 Preliminary results, show there was around 10% OM in the sediment from urban stormwater runoff.
