Thank you for your interest in re-enrolling to the Fox School of Business.  Matriculated students who have not enrolled for one fall or spring semester without permission to study elsewhere or an approved leave of absence who would like to continue their education in the Fox School of Business and Management must submit a petition for re-enrollment.

Students academically dismissed from Temple University are eligible to apply for reinstatement after 8 semesters (4 years) not including summer sessions.

We begin to review applications close to the application deadline and applications are reviewed in the order submitted. You will be informed via your personal non-Temple email address of the decision when finalized.  If you do not have a non-Temple email address, please create a free Gmail account via the following link: https://goo.gl/3vCbVc.  In the interim, please carefully review the below important information:

What are the application deadlines and when will I be notified of the decision?
August 1 for the fall semester; December 1 for the spring semester; April 1 for the summer semester. Applications must be complete and deadlines are strictly enforced.

Fall applications are reviewed in June/July; spring applications are reviewed in November/December; summer applications are reviewed in April. Applicants will be notified of readmit decisions by email once reviewed.  Be sure to include a valid email address in your petition to receive your decision, we no longer mail letters.  Allow 4 – 6 weeks after the deadline for a decision.

Did you enroll elsewhere while you were not at Temple?
You must have official transcripts sent directly to me via the below mailing address or official electronic transcript to elvita@temple.edu.
– transcripts must be received by the deadline for consideration for readmission

Do you have any holds (except academic holds) on your record?
All holds must be cleared by the application deadline for consideration for readmission.

Questions about financial holds should be presented to the bursar’s office at 215-204-7269.

What will my program requirements be upon return?
All programs/majors reserve the right to update their requirements annually to provide the most up-to- date degree.  You must meet current program requirements upon return and upper level business courses (those numbered 100 or higher) earned previously may no longer apply toward the degree if the absence is 5 or more years.  Please be prepared that you may have to complete more courses than you were originally required to complete at Temple.  If and when you are approved, you will receive a detailed list of the approved old courses and a list of remaining courses via your non-Temple email address.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide more details until a detailed evaluation is completed.

If I am approved, when can I meet with an advisor to register for classes?

When you receive your email approval, you will received detailed instructions on what to do next and how to schedule an appointment with an advisor.  You cannot meet with an advisor or register for classes until you receive formal approval via your non-Temple email address.
