If you are from Philadelphia or any of the surrounding counties, you may be eligible for thousands of dollars in scholarships simply based on your residency! The Philadelphia Foundation is a non-profit organization that distributes scholarships to local high school and college students who face financial barriers in their journey to college. This is a great starting point for students looking to apply for scholarships.
These local scholarships are less competitive because fewer people apply for them, which works to your advantage!
