Hi everyone!
My name is Nicole, and I am so excited for the Dublin trip. I have never traveled to Europe before, so this is a brand new journey I am thrilled to embark on.
I am a senior pubic relations major with a minor in communication and activism. I have always wanted to take part in a study abroad program, but have felt that a semester long program was too long for me. Therefore, once I found out about this opportunity with the Klein GO program, I knew it was an experience I had to take advantage of.
I started my Temple journey undecided, and not long after my freshman year, I discovered the world of PR and a passion for the field. I also am quite passionate about all things feminism, environmental activism, and LGBTQIA+ rights (my minor in communication and activism perfectly aligns with these interests). On this trip, I am looking forward to learning more about sustainability and the ways in which organizations make a conscious effort to be environmentally friendly and reduce their carbon footprint.
Outside of of the PR and academic world, I have several hobbies and passions. I grew up doing musical theater, and the theater world has greatly shaped who I am today. I love to sing and play piano, and one day would love to do PR within the music industry. I also love to play games (I am confident I can beat anyone in Mario Kart), spend quality time with my friends, and I especially love a sweet treat after a long day (and by that I mean every day:))
I am beyond grateful for the chance to travel abroad for this course, and I absolutely cannot wait for the journey that is to come.
Thanks for reading!
