But with representation, asylum seekers are 5x more likely to win their case.&nbsp; With nearly 500,000 pending asylum cases, there are not enough lawyers to meet the need.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignfull has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading alignfull\"><strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Our approach to immigration<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SCIJ\u2019s training program provides students with a broad overview of immigration law and history so they\u2019re prepared to provide legal services to immigrants. Students support attorneys by taking on all aspects of an asylum case with SCIJ mentoring students during the process.
