Our laboratory opened the doors in 2019, and is freshly equipped with all latest technology and resources to conduct innovative and high-quality research. We offer an inclusive and inspirational environment where lab members are trained to achieve their goals at any point in their career path.

We are part of the Center for Translational Medicine in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) at Temple University. Our department gathers a group of outstanding researchers, educators and trainees dedicated to understanding the pathological mechanisms of different diseases, including heart failure, lung inflammation and Alzheimer. Our multidisciplinary department fosters a collaborative and productive scientific environment.

The LKSOM hosts PhD, MS, MD/PhD programs to train the next generation of researchers in a diverse and inclusive environment (https://medicine.temple.edu/admissions).
