During his time at Saint Joe\u2019s, he was involved in several research projects spanning multiple areas from the neurobiological and behavioral impacts of stress in mice to the social interactions between adults with disabilities and robots. Additionally, he completed an internship at the Center for Neuromodulation in Depression and Stress in the Psychiatry Department at University of Pennsylvania\u2019s Perelman School of Medicine where he was exposed to clinical research procedures and cutting-edge treatments for mood disorders including Vagus Nerve Stimulation and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. His research interests include the development of depression in adolescence as well as self-injury and suicidality in the context of depression.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jack Wurman, B.S.
