She completed her B.A. in Psychology and Religion at Emory University in 2019. Prior to joining the Ellman Lab, Maddie worked as a clinical research assistant for Drs. Edward Craighead and Allison LoPilato at the Emory Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP). Maddie is broadly interested in studying early transdiagnostic risk processes (i.e.: maternal stress, childhood adversity, neuroimmunology) and intervention targets for psychopathology across critical developmental windows.
