Stephanie Korenic, M.A.

Stephanie is a sixth-year graduate student in the clinical psychology program, working with Dr. Lauren Ellman. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2012 with dual B.A. degrees awarded for triple-majoring in Psychology, Media and Communication Studies, and Graphic Design. She went on to earn a certificate in Big Data and Social Analytics from MIT in 2017. Prior to joining the Ellman Lab at Temple, Stephanie spent several years working as a coordinator for Dr. Laura Rowland within the Neuroimaging Research Program at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC). Stephanie is interested in predictive modeling and plans to integrate multi-modal neuroimaging, wearable/mobile sensing, and other “big data”-driven approaches to examine conversion to psychosis longitudinally, with attention paid to better understanding the interplay between sleep and social-cognitive functioning. She is an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) fellow.

She is currently out on internship with the VA Maryland Healthcare System/University of Maryland School of Medicine Psychology Internship Consortium Program, where she is completing rotations within the UM-based Clinical High Risk for Psychosis (CHiRP) Track.
