Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Boston College in May of 2021. While at BC, she worked as a research assistant in the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab under Dr. Elizabeth Kensinger studying the relationships between sleep, aging, and emotional memory. After graduating, she completed a year of volunteer service with AmeriCorps where she lived with and served pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. Her primary research interests include maternal perinatal mental health and the impacts of trauma and adverse childhood experiences on the development of psychopathology.
