Emma is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program working with Dr. Lauren Ellman. She graduated from Fairfield University in 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology of Neuroscience and minor in Health Studies. After graduating, Emma worked as a clinical research coordinator for the Mount Sinai Hospital Affective and Cognitive Therapeutics (ACT) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Maria de las Mercedes Perez-Rodriguez. Emma plans to research prenatal exposures, with a particular emphasis on neuroinflammation, and explore the impacts on psychopathology and cognition in mother and child throughout the lifespan.
