Nicole Davies, MA

Nicole is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program, working with Dr. Lauren Ellman. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University in 2021. Afterward, she worked as a research associate at NYU School of Medicine, evaluating perinatal collaborative care and first-episode psychosis intervention models. Nicole then completed an M.S. with Distinction in Psychiatric Research at King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, where her research explored perinatal distress following conception after the use of assisted reproductive technologies. Her research interests surround perinatal risk factors (e.g., stress and obstetric complications) and their contributions to psychopathology in offspring and birthing persons across the lifespan.
