Below are some answers to the most frequently asked questions sent by Cooperating Teachers. If you have a question that we haven’t answered, please feel free to contact the Office of Field Placement at Temple.
What do I need to do to complete my requirements for Temple?
We are looking for 4 items from each of our Cooperating Teachers:
- Honorarium& W9 Form – These are required in order for us to issue your honorarium. These forms should be completed as soon as possible after the start of the semester.
- Mid-Semester-Summary – Available in TK20. Should be completed the week of February 24th and no later than Monday, March 3rd.
- End of Semester Evaluation – Available in TK20. Should be completed no later than April 28th.
- Cooperating Teacher Survey – Available in TK20. Should be completed no later than May 7th.
I can’t login to TK20; what should I do?
If you have lost or forgotten your username and password for TK20, you can click on the link that says “Cooperating Teachers Only: Click here if you have forgotten your username or password” on the TK20 login screen (http://edtemple.tk20.com). You will need to reference the email address we have on file for you (the one this email was sent to).
I can’t submit my forms in TK20; what should I do?
As a reminder, you should only SUBMIT in TK20 at the end of the semester after all required forms are completed. For now, you just need to click on “Save” or “Save Draft” to save your work. As soon as you save an edited form, the changes are available to the University Coach and the Student Teacher to review in TK20.
How will the others know when a form has been completed in TK20?
There is no automated notification email that is sent by TK20 when a form is edited and saved. You should feel free to mention it to your Student Teacher or send an email to the University Coach when a form has been updated. Just keep in mind, both of them will also be able to access your changes via TK20 at any time after you save.
Who will see my responses to the Cooperating Teacher Survey?
Your answers to the end-of-semester survey are not visible to the Student Teacher or the University Coach. For the purposes of program improvement, responses will be reported in the aggregate to the Office of Field Placement and shared with the Teacher Education program faculty, but individual responses will not be shared and your identity will be kept strictly confidential.
