Yammer
Yammer is a collaboration space that allows employees within an email domain to participate in a private social network. The tool is free and can be purchased for enterprise installations which provides additional security features.

GoAnimate.com allows even non-technical users to create animated shorts of 3-minute videos that allows you to model dialogue or describe situations that employees or leaders can interact with.
InkleWriter.com
Inklewriter.com is an application that allows you to create interactive stories. Many of you may be familiar with these as the choose your own adventure books of your childhood. This simple tool requires no programming knowledge. These web-based books can be a very effective representation of case studies.
Atlassian Confluence (Wiki)
A wiki is a website. Atlassian’s Confluence provides rich collaboration tools that allow companies to collaborate and stay informed. While not specifically a wiki, Temple University uses OwlBox (Box.com) which provides many of the features available on a wiki.

PollEverywhere.com
Utilized for the poll at the beginning of this presentation, PollEverywhere.com is an amazing tool that allows you to conduct live text-in polls anywhere and anytime. Best of all, polls with 40 respondents or less are free!
Rogers’ Adoption Curve with Technology
The following adaption of Rogers’ technology adoption cycle overlays some social media and technologies on the adoption cycle. The important thing to recognize is that technology is not widely accepted until it progresses through early majority. There are many articles written on the theory of diffusion of innovations which provide additional information.
