When to apply?
We are always accepting applications for Career & Technical Education degrees. Students may enroll in the Fall or Spring semester.

How do I apply?
If you are pursuing the BSED or MED in Career and Technical Education without an optional concentration, you must demonstrate valid expertise in your career and technical education skills area by successfully passing the Occupational Competency Assessment (OCA) exam.

What do I need to apply?
You must receive Temple’s endorsement before you can take these exams. Students in the BSED or MED in Career and Technical Education with an optional concentration must also pass the Occupational Competency Assessment exam before they can receive their certificate; 24 credits are earned toward the degree with the passage of the Occupational Competency Assessment.
