Mary Deere is an Environmental Science major in the class of 2020. She joined the Cordes lab in Spring 2018 and has been working with Steve Auscavitch to study cold-water coral communities on seamounts. Mary plans to pursue either her Master’s or PhD degree in a related field to further understand the growing threat of climate change.
