ECOGIG Cruise on R/V Nautilus

Led by Dr. Cordes and Dr. Charles Fisher of Penn State University, this ECOGIG cruise focused on the response of deepwater corals and their associated communities to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. This cruise aboard the E/V Nautilus is a continuation of a 3-year partnership with Ocean Exploration Trust and as part of a time series evaluating coral and microbe response to anthropogenic and natural oil seepage.
