She is currently completing her internship at Charleston Consortium Internship Program. Her research interests include investigating modifiable risk factors and ways to promote engagement in dementia risk-reducing behaviors in midlife. She is also interested in early identification of cognitive impairment, as well as exploring interventions to improve quality of life and cognitive functioning in healthy aging and dementia. Her research interests include learning about factors that predict outcome on behavioral or other interventions. Specifically, she is interested in learning how motivation can influence cognition in people with MCI and dementia. She enjoys running, the beach, exploring new parts of Philadelphia and the world, and spending quality time with friends and family, including her husband (Ron), daughter (Callan), cat (Luna), and dog (Huey)! Her research interests include investigating the roles of cognitive functioning and psychological well-being in everyday task performance and quality of life. Specifically, she is interested in how this information can be used to improve methods for early detection and intervention for people at risk for dementia, using novel technologies for such efforts. She went to Temple University for undergraduate (Class of 2020) with a degree in Psychology and minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research interests include testing novel technology to assess and detect subtle difficulties in functional and cognitive impairment, and understanding how immigration, acculturation, and learning a second language affects memory, cognition, and neuropsychological test performance.
