It provides Temple undergraduates the opportunity to work with Philadelphia-area organizations on projects that address unequal vulnerability to climate change impacts and related environmental injustices.<\/p>\n<p>We take a holistic approach to student development and aim to build a community of thinkers and doers who are committed to civic participation. Therefore, in addition to their internship placements, the program requires that students participate in a full-day orientation, bi-weekly professional development sessions, and a Community Showcase event. CJFS interns work 20 hours per week and receive a $3500 stipend.<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022\tCurrent full-time undergraduates from all Temple schools and colleges. Preference will be given to students who have taken coursework related to climate justice.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMinimum 3.25 cumulative GPA<br \/>\n\u2022\tRising Juniors and Seniors<br \/>\n\u2022\tAttendance at the required, in-person, all-day Program Orientation on Monday, May 18, 2026<br \/>\n\u2022\tAbility to devote 20 hours per week to the internship during the 10-week summer program (May 25 \u2013 July 31, 2026)<br \/>\n\u2022\tAttendance at the required bi-weekly professional development sessions<br \/>\n\u2022\tAbility to help organize the Community Showcase event and deliver an oral presentation on their project (September. 4, 2026)<\/p>\n<p><b>How to apply<\/b><br \/>\nYou must be signed into your Temple account to access the application form.
