Hello! My name is Chessie Bovasso! I am a current Graduate Student in Biology (working towards my M.S) at Temple University. I will be using this website to document projects and experiences, past and present, as I navigate through my graduate student career!
I am in training as an ecologist, and I work in the Integrative Ecology Lab under Dr. Jocelyn Behm and Dr. Matthew Helmus. My predominant field of interest right now is in bird ecology, investigating species diversity and the impacts of human development.
My past experiences often had me in the field doing direct interactions with wildlife. Today, my work is more relegated to species sampling through acoustic monitoring and spatial analysis
