We aim to showcase student-created work that reflects the complexity of human experience and the transformative power of the arts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcomed submissions in the visual arts or literary arts. All entries were expected to engage with this year\u2019s theme of<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/chat\/annual-theme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Un\/Bound<\/a>&nbsp;and reflect the expressive power of the humanities through the arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Win up to $400 and have your work showcased in the CHAT Arts Space! Prizes include $400 for first place, $300 for second, and $200 for third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that awards are deposited into your student account and will first be applied to any existing balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visual Arts &amp; Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drawing, Painting (any media)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Printmaking, Mixed-media\/Multimedia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poster Art or Graphic Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics, or other 3D works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission Format: JPG, PNG, or GIF (for still images); max file size 10 MB<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Literary Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Poetry (max 350 words)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creative Writing: fiction, creative nonfiction, hybrid forms (max 1000 words)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission Format: DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, PDF<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1.&nbsp;Complete the online submission form and upload your work along with the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For Visual Arts &amp; Design submissions, you may upload up to three images to provide alternate views of the same piece.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Literary Arts, your work will be printed and displayed as part of the exhibition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Please ensure that your submission is ready for public display at the time of upload:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For Visual or Design entries, submit high-quality images or video\/audio files, and include any necessary hardware or specifications for installation or presentation.
