Her work has been published in peer-reviewed publications such as Victims &amp; Offenders and International Criminal Justice Review, with several forthcoming publications. She served a temporary assignment with the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigation (HSI), and as Director of Research for Street Grace, a 501(c)(3) Organization that focused on the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. Specific to her area of research, she conducted studies on internet-based platforms, such as Telegram, Discord, Monster, Indeed, and Seeking Arrangements, and analyzed the yield data from research studies to provide vital information to government organizations, such as the Federal Reserve Bank. She has taught various criminology and criminal justice courses.<br \/>\nCurrently, she teaches and serves as a Deputy Sheriff in a major metropolitan agency in the southeast in an investigation unit focused on digital forensics and criminal enterprises.<strong>Talk title: <\/strong>The cybercrime link from those behind the door (incarcerated) to those in the free world<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>Technology is a tool that is commonly exploited by criminals regardless of if they are incarcerated or in the \u201cfree world\u201d to victimize others.
