Oskar Lindblom has not let up in the quest to settle his place on the team once and for all, scoring a whopping two goals and one assist on Wednesday. The Flyers had other players step up to the plate this pre-season game, with the likes of Corbyn Knight and Scott Laughton clocking 2 goals and one assist, and three assists (respectively).

German Rubtsov also scored, but the Flyers staff announced yesterday that with the next cut in their roster, Rubtsov will be sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms affiliate team for the beginning of this season. There is still speculation involving other players who survived the cut, with the likes of Mikhail Vorobyev (who have shown up in a big way this preseason) will find a spot in the starting lineup.

Despite the deep prospect pool the Flyers have the opportunity to oberve, most eyes of fans have been on the highly coveted and statistically dominant potential franchise goalie Carter Hart. After Brian Elliott gave up two goals in the first period. Dave Hakstol decided to put Hart in net who faced the next two periods of play and only let in 2 goals on 27 shots. This was consistent with his incredible play in his last pre-season game. The question is whether Ron Hextall and the other Flyers staff believe that these talents are ready to translate to the full speed of the NHL.
