Kishwer Vikaas
<\/span><\/p>

As an undergraduate member of the Borguet Group in 2005, Kishwer Vikaas carried out research on surface absorption. Kishwer graduated from Temple University in January 2007. After graduation, where she was the College of Liberal Arts commencement speaker, Kishwer enrolled at Temple Law School.<\/p>

In April 2008, she accepted a position in the communications department of a Philadelphia-based public health non-profit organization.<\/p>

In 2013, Kishwer graduated from Temple Law School. The following year, she was admitted to the California State Bar. She currently works as an immigration staff attorney at McGeorge Community Legal Services. At the Immigration Clinic, she assists immigrant families with victims of violence visas, asylum applicants and more. She also teaches legal writing, research and analysis to LLM students at McGeorge as an adjunct professor. Prior to working at McGeorge, Kishwer worked for two years at Opening Doors, a Sacramento nonprofit that serves refugees, victims of human trafficking, and more. Her past work also includes practicing public interest law with Legal Services of Northern California and Coalition for California Welfare Rights Organizations. In 2019, she was named one of the “40 Under 40″ winners by the Sacramento Business Journal<\/i>.<\/a><\/p>
