Dr. Parisa Yasini,\u00a0<\/span>parisa.yasini@temple.edu<\/a><\/p>

I was born in Tehran, Iran. I received my B.Sc. in Pure Chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University in 2010, and my M.S in Analytical Chemistry from Tehran University in 2013. My research was on the development of new surfactant based solid phase extraction methods for determination of heavy metals in food and water samples.<\/p>

I was admitted to Temple University in Fall 2015, and joined the Borguet research group in January 2016. My research was focused on the use of microscopy to answer materials related questions. One specific area of interest is understanding the factors that influence charge transport through single molecules at solid\/liquid interfaces using scanning probe microscopy (SPM).<\/p>
