He received his Ph. D. from State Key Laboratory of Electro-analytical Chemistry, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun. His Ph. D. advisor was Prof Erkang Wang.<\/p><p>Yufan\u2019s past research focused on the dynamics of molecular processes at redox reaction and molecular diffusion by combining potential pulse perturbation and STM. He is also interested in single-molecule conductivity and single-molecule spectroscopy.<\/p><p>Yufan used single-molecule spectroscopy to study the conformational dynamics of protein and enzyme in the processes of biological function. He also used single-molecule spectroscopy to study the processes of interfacial electron transfer.<\/p><p>He is currently a research scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Center for Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University.
