Dr. Robert Giuliano<\/span><\/p>

\"\"Dr. Robert Giuliano, professor of chemistry at Villanova University, was on sabbatical with the Borguet group, working in the area of carbon-based nanomaterials. His laboratory at Villanova is attempting to functionalize crystalline graphite nanofibers (GNFs) for possible applications in biology. Structural analysis of the GNFs is being studied using methods developed in the Borguet lab.<\/p>

Dr. Giulano retired\u00a0to Emeritus status\u00a0in May of 2020. He is continuing some research in organic synthesis of phytotoxins with the USDA.<\/p>
