Doctoral student Marcellin Jaoravo and undergraduate students Kevin Carpenter and Sarah Munson have begun research in the Sewall Lab.\u00a0 Marcellin will be working with Dr. Sewall on improving understanding of the ecology and conservation of bird populations of northern Madagascar.\u00a0 Marcellin is based within Madagascar but is being advised by Dr. Sewall during his dissertation research.\u00a0 Kevin and Sarah are both based at Temple University.\u00a0 Kevin will be working with Dr. Sewall to establish long-term population trajectories of Pennsylvania’s bat populations, a project that will enable quantification of historical population changes and provide context for recent changes in bat populations due to white-nose syndrome and other threats.\u00a0 Sarah will be working with Dr. Sewall on community ecology studies of ecological interaction networks, focusing in particular on theoretical and empirical evaluations of suites of mutualistic interactions among plants and their insect pollinators.\u00a0 Welcome to Marcellin, Kevin, and Sarah!\u00a0 For more information, see the ‘People’ tab on this website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
