Kim Reuter has given a presentation at the United States Embassy in Madagascar about her conservation biology research. \u00a0The talk, entitled “Deforestation and Natural Resource Threats to Madagascar’s Biodiversity,” was sponsored by the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar. \u00a0The more than \u00a065 interested attendees learned about how habitat loss, unregulated hunting of wild species, and other threats are affecting native species and ecosystems in Madagascar, and afterwards engaged in a highly interactive discussion of these threats and steps that might be taken to address them.<\/p>\n
