I have a Ph.D. in Political Science with concentrations in international relations and comparative politics from Temple University.

My research focuses on the role of non-state actors in international environmental policy development, specifically within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Using network analysis, my dissertation investigates the dyadic relationships between environmental non-governmental organizations’ (ENGOs) depth of participation with the formal UNFCCC negotiations and their structural positions (i.e. measures of power and influence).

I have developed and taught six separate undergraduate political science courses including:

  • Foreign Government
  • War & Peace
  • Globalization & Development
  • The American Political System
  • The History & Significance of Race in the United States
  • American Politics in Global Perspective, Discussion and Analysis
